Then Vice Premier Sh. Abdrahmanov reported on the state of work in the fuel and energy complex, in particular, the state concern "Turkmengaz". In this regard, measures were taken to diversify the industry and continuously strengthen its material and equipment base, to dynamically develop the oil and gas industry of the country by introducing innovative technologies, and to increase the production of high-quality petrochemical products, which are in great demand in domestic and foreign markets.
Commenting on the report, the President noted that increasing the capacities of the gas chemical industry, processing natural gas, and increasing the volume of manufactured products are currently the priority directions for the development of the fuel and energy sector of the country. The effective work of the oil and gas industry is directly related to the modernization of its structures and continuous improvement of technical equipment. In this regard, the Turkmen leader instructed the vice-premier to continue the work in this area.
Vice Premier A. Yazmyradov reported on the regular use of water resources and the progress of seasonal agricultural work in the country. In order to fulfill the tasks set by the Turkmen leader in the field of water management, the governmental group on water supply issues of the country is carrying out relevant work on improving the amelioration condition of agricultural fields and regular use of water resources. Necessary measures are being taken to efficiently use the water from the spring and underground wells in the foothills of our country.
It was reported that necessary efforts are being made to harvest the cotton crop quickly and without loss, wheat planting is being continued in accordance with agrotechnical norms. At the same time, in Dashoguz and Lebap Provinces, farmers began mass harvesting of rice, and in Mary Province, they began harvesting sugar beet.
Commenting on the report, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the important role of the agro-industrial complex in our national economy and emphasized the need to collect the cotton crop on time, without loss, and complete the wheat planting within the specified agrotechnical terms. The Turkmen leader spoke about the importance of successful implementation of the tasks of ensuring food abundance in the country and instructed to ensure a high level of organization of harvesting the fertile harvest of rice, sugar beet and other vegetable crops.
